What is Bossing?
Bossing is the act of RuneScape gold fighting powerful, often unique enemies called bosses. These enemies usually:
Have much higher health and damage than regular monsters
Feature special mechanics (phases, minions, area attacks, etc.)
Drop rare and valuable loot (such as Uniques, clue scrolls, and pet drops)
Examples of Bosses:
Zulrah (solo boss with rotation mechanics)
Vorkath (dragon boss with fireball and poison attacks)
God Wars Dungeon Bosses (group or solo bosses with high-value loot)
Theatre of Blood / Chambers of Xeric (group raids with complex fights)
Bossing is usually done for:
Making money
PvM progression and challenge
Completionist/collection log goals
Fun and prestige
What is PvM?
PvM (Player vs. Monster) is a broader term that includes any combat between a player and AI-controlled enemies. It encompasses:
Slayer tasks
Killing regular monsters for drops
Mini-bosses and dungeon runs
Bossing and OSRS Boosting raids
