These currencies are tied directly to POE2 Currency the Atlas of Worlds and are used in map and endgame activities.

Waypoint Stones and Altars: Used to open portals to new areas within the Atlas or to influence specific modifiers on maps. These are valuable for endgame progression.

Sextants: These influence map modifiers, making them more rewarding or challenging. They can be traded for significant currency or used to boost map farming rewards.

1. Item Valuation
Currency is used to set the value of items in the game. When you want to buy or sell an item, the price is typically determined in relation to the amount of currency it can be exchanged for. For example, rare items with high-tier mods might be worth multiple Exalted Orbs or Chaos Orbs, while common items or low-level gear are often worth very little or nothing at all.

2. Crafting and Upgrading Gear
